How to become a CMA?
The journey of becoming a Cost and Management Accountant (CMA) comprises of the three key steps. These 3 steps are the 3 levels of the Cost and Management Accountant (CMA) course. These are -

Step 1 - CMA Foundation
Eligibility
Students can register for this course after passing 10th or equivalent examination from a recognized Board. To appear for CMA Foundation, candidates must have passed the 12th examination.

Section A: Fundamentals of Economics (50 marks)
Section B: Fundamentals of Management (50 marks)

Passing criteria for CMA Foundation
A student is declared to pass CMA foundation exam of he/ she has secures minimum of 40% marks in each paper and aggregate of 50% of total marks.
Step 2 - CMA Intermediate
Eligibility
For appearing in CMA Intermediate exams, students must have passed 12th class and any of the CMA Foundation/ CS Foundation/ CA Foundation or should have passed Graduation in any discipline other than Fine Arts.
